Registration and the Conference Secretariat will be located in the Porters' Lodge area.

Check in at the Porters Lodge to collect your room keys & swipe cards. The Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. Please note that the official check in time is after 12 noon. A room will be made available at the Porters' Lodge for luggage storage if you arrive early. You will also need to vacate your room by 9:00am on the day of departure.


Getting To and From Cambridge

• Arriving by Rail or Coach:
The Railway Station and Bus Station (Drummer Street) are shown on the Cambridge Around New Hall map: Directions.

- Train information: There are regular trains from Londons Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street Stations to Cambridge. You can find useful information about London to Cambridge railway services at: Travel by Train. Upon arriving into Cambridge it is quickest and easiest to take a taxi from the Rail Station to New Hall. Alternatively, during the day, a regular bus service operates from the Station to the City Centre, and from the City Centre to Huntingdon Road (New Hall).

- Bus Information: For information about various Coach Services to Cambridge from airports and London go to: Travel by Bus. The Bus Station in Cambridge is just over one mile from New Hall. It is quickest and easiest to take a taxi, however, buses to Huntingdon Road (New Hall) are also available.

• Arriving by Air:
Jetlink run bus services to and from Stansted, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Go to National Express, or call (telephone (08705) 757747 for further information.

Railway service is also available from Stansted Airport - go to National Rail Enquiries Online for more information or call National Rail Enquiries 44 (0) 8457 48 49 50 for further information.

• Arriving by Road:
From the M11, take Junction 13 onto the A1303 (Madingley Road) east towards the City Centre. Following the Cambridge Around New Hall map, at the traffic light turn left onto Lady Margaret Road (if you get to a round-about you have gone 100 metres too far). Continue up the hill and turn left at the next traffic light onto Huntingdon Road. Follow Huntingdon straight through another traffic light and then take your first left onto Buckingham Road which is also the main entrance to New Hall. The Porters' Lodge will be on your right and they will direct you from there.

• Parking:
New Hall parking is accessed from Storey’s Way off Huntingdon Road and Madingley Road. Please report to the Porters Lodge on Arrival. There is no charge for car parking at New Hall.


Getting to and from the Conference Venue

Buses from the city centre run regularly up Huntingdon Road. The bus route from Emmanuel Street is Citi 5 or Citi 6. You will need to ask the driver to let you know when you are on Huntingdon Road and approaching New Hall - there is a bus stop directly outside (you should also be able to see New Hall on the left hand side coming up the hill with its big white Dome Roof).
