This proposal focuses on Hollywood's production codes, either enforced of "voluntary". It examines their roles in shaping contemporary Hollywood cinema and the resulting social taboos that are revealed.

He is the author of numerous papers on film topics in academic journals. In addition, he serves as a writer and researcher for historical documentaries.
